General Information:
Nanga Parbat, towering at 8,126 meters (26,660 feet), is the ninth-highest mountain in the world and one of the most fearsome peaks to summit. Nicknamed the “Killer Mountain”, it earned this reputation due to its steep slopes, ice walls, and a history of early expeditions that ended in tragedy. Unlike K2, which is technical and rugged, Nanga Parbat offers a massive, icy fortress that requires both endurance and mountaineering expertise. The mountain lies in the Diamer District of Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan and is part of the Himalayas.
