Refund and Returns Policy for Adventure Horizons Pakistan

At Adventure Horizons Pakistan, we are committed to ensuring that your travel experience is enjoyable and seamless. However, we understand that plans can change, and this Refund and Returns Policy explains the terms under which refunds can be processed, deposits are handled, and how to manage cancellations or modifications to your bookings.


1. Deposits for Tour Confirmation

To secure your booking with Adventure Horizons Pakistan, we require a non-refundable deposit. This deposit confirms your spot on the tour and allows us to make the necessary arrangements such as securing accommodations, transportation, and permits.

1.1. Deposit Amount

  • The required deposit amount will vary depending on the tour package. Typically, the deposit ranges between 25% and 50% of the total tour cost.
  • The deposit amount will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

1.2. Payment of Deposit

  • The deposit must be paid at the time of booking to confirm your participation in the tour. Until the deposit is received, your booking remains provisional and is subject to cancellation if not confirmed within the agreed time frame.

1.3. Non-Refundable Nature of the Deposit

  • Deposits are non-refundable except in cases where the tour is canceled by Adventure Horizons Pakistan (as detailed in Section 2 below).
  • If you choose to cancel your booking, the deposit will be forfeited. This policy is in place because we incur costs for making advance arrangements with third-party providers.

1.4. Application of Deposit to Final Payment

  • The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the tour, with the remaining balance due 15 days before the scheduled departure date. If the final payment is not received by this time, your booking may be canceled, and the deposit forfeited.

2. Cancellations and Refunds for Tour Packages

2.1. Cancellations by Customers

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund structure will apply, excluding the non-refundable deposit:

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled departure: Full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost minus the deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be provided.

2.2. Modifications to Bookings

Date of itinerary modifications may be requested, subject to availability and any applicable fees from third-party providers. Adventure Horizons Pakistan will make efforts to accommodate changes, but additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the modification.


3. Cancellations by Adventure Horizons Pakistan

In rare cases, Adventure Horizons Pakistan may need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as:

  • Natural disasters or severe weather conditions.
  • Government restrictions or political instability.
  • Insufficient group participation (for group tours).

In such cases, you will have the following options:

  • Full refund of the total amount paid, including the non-refundable deposit.
  • Tour rescheduling to an alternative date at no additional cost.
  • Credit for future travel: Receive a travel credit valid for up to one year, which can be used for any future booking with us.

We will notify you of any cancellations as early as possible and provide alternative solutions to minimize any inconvenience.


4. Non-Refundable Items

Certain services included in your tour package may be subject to non-refundable terms due to third-party provider policies. These include:

  • Flights: Some flight bookings are non-refundable or may carry cancellation penalties.
  • Visa fees: Any costs incurred for visa applications are non-refundable.
  • Travel insurance premiums: Once issued, insurance costs cannot be refunded.

We will inform you of any non-refundable components when you book your tour, and we recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover potential cancellations.


5. Refund Process

If eligible for a refund, the process is as follows:

  1. Submit a refund request by contacting us via phone or email.
  2. Review and verification: We will confirm your eligibility for a refund based on our policy and any third-party conditions.
  3. Refund timeline: Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days from the date of approval and will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds for third-party services, such as flights or hotels, may take longer depending on their policies.


6. Special Circumstances

In certain cases, we may offer exceptions to our standard refund policy, such as:

  • Medical emergencies: If you are unable to travel due to a medical condition, please provide supporting documentation for a potential full or partial refund.
  • Government-imposed travel restrictions: If travel bans or government regulations prevent you from proceeding with your trip, we will offer a reschedule or credit.

7. Group Bookings

For group bookings, any requests for refunds, modifications, or cancellations must be made by the group leader. The same refund policies apply, and the entire group must agree on the cancellation or modification.
