Snow Lake and Biafo Hispar Glacier by:

Snow Lake lies at an altitude of 16,000 feet, 4,877 meters—what one would consider a high-altitude glacial basin. It is more locally known as Lukpe Lawo, feeding into the Biafo Glacier. This glacier then connects with the Hispar Glacier, creating an epic frozen river of ice. Words cannot describe how it feels standing on Snow Lake, the endless glacier stretching as long as any white ocean, framed by tall and rugged mountains.
